Your vaccination will be administered by one of our qualified vaccinating Pharmacists. You will be taken through a consent form and asked a few questions prior to receiving your vaccination to check for any medical conditions or pre-existing conditions.
Most people will only have to wait in the pharmacy for 5 minutes after receiving their vaccination to ensure there is no adverse reaction to the immunisation, however a small number of patients will be asked to wait for 20 minutes. Your Pharmacist will advise you on which wait time applies to you.
The influenza vaccination is free for people who are considered to be at higher risk of getting severely sick with the flu, including those over 65 years old, who are pregnant, or have certain chronic health conditions.
